STUDENTS
We see a huge gap in the education system, whereby young people are trained in a way that misses great opportunities for a more supportive and healthy future in Australia, which encourages safety and fairness.
We offer a range of presentations and workshops, and can tailor programs specific to the needs of students and educational groups and institutions. We tailor programs for all students, including primary and secondary school students, home-school students, university students, and NEIS participants.
All presentations and workshops can be delivered both online, or internally for schools in North East Tasmania. There are no limits to the amount of students that can attend a presentation or workshop.
NDIS PARTICIPANTS
The NDIS funds general employment-related planning and support, including support to transition to work.
We support your transition to self employment, and offer training about workplace relationships, communication skills, business attire, time management, and more. We also pay attention to participants’ challenges and concerns about the material presented, and their business operations.
Our coaches have experience working with people with disabilities, and take the time to discuss and implement any required adjustments.
NOTE: Although we are working towards free workshops, a 20% discount applies to people with a proven disability, who do not have access to NDIS or other funding.
ACTIVE PARENTS
We understand how difficult it can be for active parents to take time to develop themselves and their business. This is why we tailor our programs to suit the needs of single and other busy parents.
We factor in time adjustments at no extra cost, so you can feel comfortable asking us to repeat information you may have missed, or taking time out to settle bub or change a nappy or two. We even encourage family participation in our workshops.
NOTE: Although we are working towards free workshops, a 20% discount applies to single mothers die to the gender pay gap.
MULTICULTURAL GROUPS
We work with a diversity of multicultural communities, no matter what level of English is spoken. We believe everyone has the right to generate income while creating social and environmental benefit.
Our trainers have skills in Teaching English as a Second Language, and have worked locally and internationally in the field. They also have extensive experience supporting persecuted multicultural communities, and understand many of the complexities involved in delivering workshops to people in this position.
NOTE: Although we are working towards offering free or very low cost workshops, a 20% discount applies to persecuted multicultural communities.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
We encourage all Australians to gain increased awareness about the devastating historical and continuing impacts from colonisation upon First Nations peoples.
Our consults and workshops are developed to support indigenous peoples with information about social entrepreneurship, and opportunities for arguing in favour of continuity.
We also offer indigenous peoples a voice by offering free publishing of their articles on our news section. A low cost editing service is available if required.
NOTE: We are working towards offering free workshops for indigenous peoples.
